    Very informative video. I have a question on how to tell how much finished compost to add to vegetable beds I compost kitchen waste in my kitchen garden. I dig about a foot deep hole and bury the food waste with carbon material and cover with soil. When it's done composting, it's all mixed up with the soil and it's hard to tell how much of it is actually compost. I doubt if this mix can be separated. How much of this mix is needed, for say 5 tomato plants that I'd plant in one of the raised beds.

    Is your shirt PFAS free? Is the chlorine residual recorded as Free or Total chlorine? And should you not take a field reading of both free and total chlorine and record both results on the COC?

    TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS CHANNEL: I WILL SAY THIS MUCH, YOU TRY TO PULL OFF WHAT CAN ONLY BE YOUR OWN PROBLEM EVENTUALLY. EVERYONE FINDS TROUBLE IN THEIR BAD CHOICES, AND IT WILL ONE DAY BE TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR WAYS. NOW IS THE TIME TO BE VIGILANT AND DO SOMETHING TO MAKE A BETTER PLACE FOR EVERYONE. IF YOU ARE UNAWARE OF WHAT IS BEING DONE IT IS BECAUSE YOU CHOOSE TO BE OBTUSE, NOT BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE EYES, AND EARS. MAY THE LORD FIND A CHANGED HEART IN YOU.

    Here are substantive comments (not sound checks, etc) from the live online chat that happened during the presentations. David Dow For aquatic pond sources for the 6 PFAS chemicals to be regulated for drinking water are both the water column and sediments included as source areas ? David Dow Do PCBs and PAHs mcl and waste site source areas provide any guidance for developing the PFAS regulations under the MCP ? David Dow Cape Cod we face significant public investments to reduce "N" loading from septic systems and responding to climate challenge ($ 10-12 Billion). Who will fund these infrastructure-operational costs MassDEP David, the way we look at PCBs and PAHs (families of related compounds) certainly provide models for how one might look at and regulate that family. I would also throw in dioxins as another example. David Dow Is Ma. DEP developing PFAS food safety consumption levels for agricultural food & fish/wildilife ? MassDEP We will pass on your question about funding, etc... MassDEP is aware funding is an issue. MassDEP MassDEP is working with other agencies who have the authority to regulate food... David Dow Since AFFF fire fighting foams are a major source of PFAS contamination of drinking water, are their alternatives to incineration as a disposal method of unused foams ? Shaina Kasper Unless we can prove that PFAS is safe (which overwhelming scientific evidence is saying no), I'll keep calling it what is is -- a poisonous substance. David Dow Are their alternatives to GAC to achieve the proposed 20 ppt mcl for 6 PFAS chemicals in public drinking water ? David Dow Are there any lessons to be learned from the Joint Base Cape Cod SDWA/CERCLA cleanup of contaminants of concern in the Ashumet Valley/Otis Norm Farmer MEFOSAA and ETFOSAA are technically precursers. David Dow The Sierra Club Toxics Team's PFAS Working Group list serve has extensive discussions on alternative treatment methods to remove PFAS chemicals from drinking water; soil and other source areas. MassDEP Thanks, all! your comments/observations will be passed on, but feel free to send in emails, etc...

    When you get around to questions, and pending MCP changes, I have a question regarding Temporary Solution Status Reports. For sites with very long term MNA temporary solutions, say -bi-annual groundwater monitoring and no “operation” of a comprehensive response action remedy, is it necessary to submit Post-temporary Solution Status Reports on a semi-annual basis or can the responsible party propose submittal of Remedial Monitoring Reports when data is collected, Post-temporary Solution Status Reports only if conditions change and of course a Periodic Review Opinion Report submitted every five years?

    With the rising interest and consumption of Yerba Mate, (which has a lot of manganese in it), there seems to be a lack of warnings related to manganese. Although there is some literature about higher rates of lung, throat and mouth cancer by those who consume it regularly. Today, with the passing of Prince (RIP), I watched a RUclips video featuring Prince, where he talked about Dick Gregory and their mutual concern regarding chemtrails, which are purported to be dumping barium and manganese. Dick Gregory also has videos about lead contamination and the suggestion regarding a purposeful attempt to make the population dumber and more controllable. His manganese suggestion was that it made people more irritable and more prone to fighting. This MassDEP factual concern about manganese in the water is good stuff. The chart shown about maganese in higher levels making people dumber is something more concrete than conjecture. In either case, it's worrisome. Whether the manganese is coming from ground water, Yerba Mate or chemtrails, it looks like its a good thing to avoid if at all possible.

    Manganese is very bad for people that have Lyme Disease, lyme feeds on manganese! I have been advised not to drink any tap water due to this fact! Manganese can cause serious health issues, making lyme symptoms worse to those with lyme disease. I myself have noticed that when I drink tap water it makes my symptoms unbearable. This is something that many are not aware of!

    • @Makfly79
      @Makfly79 7 лет назад

      I took a sip of my tap water one day and got so scared. I started having pains inside like around my kidneys, and never did it again. I have something with the same symptoms of Lyme, and know it effects me a lot. I got a filter for my shower, and don't drink it ever.

    • @paulahowell2724
      @paulahowell2724 3 года назад

      @Massachusetts Militia I started filtering even the water for my coffee pot my plants and my ice tray as well as anything else that requires me to drink. i just use a Britta pitcher\filter. But be sure not to let the filter stay in past two months, although the package will say a month to 30 days. I know that these days it is difficult to find many things in the stores, so you may need to make things last until you can find a primary water source which of course there are all over the planer. But you will not be told about it. if you are interested in this info go to the Deborah Tavares you tube channel and you will find that and much more . GOD BE WITH YOU AND KEEP YOU .
